Megan J. Ping, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic & Acupuncturist
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I exist to serve by helping you identify and achieve your health goals in a safe, natural and effective way. I specialize in three Chiropractic techniques--the Webster, Diversified and motion palpation. Additionally, I use acupuncture, nutritional counseling, exercise recommendations, rehabilitation procedures and cranio sacral therapy. My specialty is working with women, pregnant mothers and children.
My goal is to help you avoid ever needing drugs or surgery. My approach may be different from what you’re used to. I treat the root cause—fix the problem. Let’s get you on the path to long-term wellness!
First, I’ll work with you to find the cause of the problem. Then, I’ll put together a plan of care that will work to fix the cause.
My Education
I began my studies at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a focus in Biology and Chemistry. Then, my studies continued at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. I earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic, Bachelor of Human Biology and also Acupuncture Certificate. During my internship, I trained under one of the top Pediatric Chiropractors in the country. We treated babies as young as one week. We also treated hundreds of toddlers, women and pregnant women. During this internship I was also trained in Cranio-Sacral Therapy.
My next internship brought me to Edina, MN. We primarily focused on treating athletes and I was able to work on the Minnesota Vikings.
After graduation, I worked alongside my father at Winona Chiropractic Center. Growing up with a chiropractor as my father helped me realize and understand my calling. It was a wonderful learning experience working in his clinic both as a child and as a doctor of chiropractic.
After the birth of our first daughter in 2003, I began my practice at 3760 Service Drive, Ping Chiropractic Wellness.
When I am not working…
I enjoy my wonderful family. My husband Ryan and I have three children--two beautiful girls—Grace and Lauren and a son Jamison. We enjoy biking, running, cross-country skiing and swimming. Over the summer of 2005 we began competing in triathlons. I have also run three marathons. With my last marathon I proudly qualified for the Boston Marathon. We also enjoy our church family and being involved in Bible studies.
